Who are we?
MHA Care (formerly Moira Healthcare Alliance) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing high quality home and community care services across the Moira Shire and surrounding districts for the past 19 years.
MHA Care receives funding from the Moira Shire Council, State and Commonwealth Governments to provide subsidised services to eligible customers under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home and Community Care Program for Younger People.
We are also approved providers for Home Care Packages, Veterans Home Care, WorkCover and Transport Accident Commission.
MHA Care also provides services to customers who are not eligible to receive government subsidised services, or would rather purchase services privately. Other organisations may also purchase services from MHA Care on your behalf.

MHA Care also operates the Yarrawonga Community Opportunity Shop and Moira Foodshare Program.
What area does MHA Care service?
MHA Care provides services in and around the Moira Shire. We have dedicated teams of Community Care Workers that service Cobram, Nathalia, Numurkah, Yarrawonga and the surrounding areas in both VIC and NSW.

Who is Eligible?
Anyone can access services from MHA Care.
If you or the person you care for need some help with daily tasks to continue living independently at home and in your community, MHA Care will work with you to develop flexible services that meet your individual needs.

Is a referral required?
You can self refer to MHA Care or have someone else such as a family member, doctor or case manager refer you.

What Personal Information is needed?
We are required to collect a customer's details and health information, however the content, collection, storage, use and disclosure of this information is all subject to strict provisions under the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988; the Victorian Information Privacy Act 2000 and the Health Records Act 2001 legislation.
As a customer you will also be requested to give your written/verbal consent should your information need to be shared with other service providers or in order for us to refer you to another agency or service.
Can you provide Interpreter Services?
Interpreter services can be organised. Please let MHA Care know if this service is required.
