Planned Activity Group Coordination Officer

Yarrawonga, Permanent Ongoing – Full Time (38 hours per week)

Salary range and benefits: SACS 4 + Non for profit salary packaging options

 What's involved in the role?

We are seeking a Full Time Planned Activity Group Coordination Officer (Yarrawonga). This position is responsible for planning and facilitating a range of group activity programs, and leading staff to deliver a high quality group activity program. 

To be successful you will need to be able to have great time management, planning and organisational skills, while having compassion and an understanding of people experiencing the effects of dementia, ageing, disability and social isolation and their carers / family members. 

About you:

While a Certificate IV Leisure & Lifestyle or a  Certificate III in Home and Community Care / Certificate III in Aged Care and a current first aid certificate is in our essential criteria, what is also important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values. We want our clients to have a great experience with our people, and our employees need to have a great attitude, be friendly, willing to learn new things, and most importantly listen and understand what the client wants and needs.
