Folder Corporate Support Officer - Receptionist

MHA Care is a dynamic, innovative organisation providing community based assistance to the frail, aged and people with a disability across the Moira Shire.

We are looking for an energetic and diligent person to join our great team in the following role based in Yarrawonga:

 

  • Corporate Support Officer - Receptionist

            Yarrawonga, Temporary 12 Month Maternity Position, Full Time (38 hrs p/w)

            Salary range and benefits: SACS 2 + Non for profit salary packaging options

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, professional and respectful customer service and reception to customers, staff, volunteers, managers and all external organisations;
  • Process and maintain information regarding clients and activities of the organisation in a confidential manner;
  • Ensure that Reception area is maintained to reflect a welcoming and professional environment;
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipting of incoming Cash, Cheques and EFTPOS;
  • Daily reconciliation and safe storage of funds;
  • Provide timely and accurate administration support to all staff and programs;
  • Sort, register and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, and maintain the mail register.
  • Monitor and distribute incoming emails and faxes;
  • Manage the booking process for rooms, equipment and fleet vehicles;
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair for MHA fleet vehicles;
  • Organise venues and catering for meetings and events as required;
  • Other administrative tasks and projects as required.

Experience and Qualifications required:

Essential:

  • Certificate II in Business (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in a professional administrative position
  • Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email and web based applications
  • Current satisfactory Police Check
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Home and Community Care services
  • An understanding of the needs of older people and people with disabilities and their carers
  • Prior education/training in dealing with difficult clientele.

 

All positions require a current satisfactory Police Check, Working with Children’s check and a current valid driver’s license.
